Unit Overview

Learners will be introduced to creating websites for a chosen purpose. Learners identify what makes a good web page and use this information to design and evaluate their own website using Adobe Express. Throughout the process, learners pay specific attention to copyright, fair use of media and creative commons, the aesthetics of the site, and hyperlinks. This will enable the learners to understand how to be a respectful and responsible user of technology online.

The suggested application for this unit is Adobe Express https://new.express.adobe.com/

This can be used on desktops, laptops and Chromebooks using a web browser. Alternatively, the app version can be used on iPads.
